Residents and visitors will be able to enjoy new artwork at the 89th Tulip Time festival. This week, the Spirit of Pella announced a mural near the Cellar Peanut Pub was completed by traveling artist Eliana Davila. The Dallas, Texas-based artist started work on the project on April 9th, the second such mural supported by the Spirit of Pella. Davila was featured on Let’s Talk Pella earlier this month.

Those heading to the Vermeer Windmill and the Pella Historical Village will also be able to enjoy a mural about the festival itself, completed by Jefferson Intermediate Art Teacher Nicole Pitts. That project will be featured on Let’s Talk Pella Thursday during Tulip Time. The photo above is the work completed through the middle of last week.
