Four PCM athletic teams were in action on Monday.

PCM Boys Track and Field Team Wins North Polk Invite

The PCM boys track and field team finished first at the North Polk Co-Ed Invite on Monday.

The Mustangs scored 124.5 team points competing alongside six other teams. Gavin Van Gorp placed first in the 100 hurdles, Griffin Olson placed first in the 400 hurdles, Chase Wagaman won the high jump, Mark Bussan won the shot put, and the 4X200 meter relay, shuttle hurdle relay, and 4X800 meter relay all placed first. The Mustangs will next compete on Thursday at South Hamilton for the Heart of Iowa Conference Meet.

PCM Girls Track and Field Finishes Fourth at North Polk

The PCM girls track and field team finished fourth at the North Polk Co-Ed Invite on Monday.

PCM scored 77 team points and competed alongside seven other teams. The Mustang girls took first in the 4X100 meter relay, 4X800 meter relay, and shuttle hurdle relay, while Abi Teeter placed second in the 800 meter, Tori Linday took third in the 400 meter hurdles, and Raegan Vannoy placed third in the 1500 meter.

The PCM girls will be back in action on Thursday at South Hamilton for the Heart of Iowa Conference Meet as well. 

PCM Girls Golf Finishes Third at Home Quad

The PCM girls golf team finished third at a home quadrangular on Monday.

The Mustangs shot 227 as a team to finish third behind Pella and Knoxville in the 9-hole event. Gretchen Uitermarkt had the low score for the Mustangs shooting a 52. Other results below.

The PCM Girls will be back in action on Wednesday at Lincoln Valley Golf Course in State Center. 

PCM Soccer Falls to Greene County

The PCM soccer team fell to Greene County 4-0 Monday night.

This was the first match for the Mustangs in two weeks. The loss drops PCM to 2-7 overall on the season. The Mustangs will be back in action on Friday at Chariton.
