Pella Track and Field Senior Thrower Hanson King has already had a season for the history books. The 2023 3A state qualifier and medal winner has followed up that junior campaign by sweeping the throws at the elite Drake Relays showcase and won the Little Hawkeye Conference shot put title on Tuesday. King discusses the Drake Relays, his commitment to Iowa State, the legacy of the Pella throwing tradition, and his pursuit of sweeping the Class 3A state championships in May.
