After going oh-for-April for the second straight season, the Knoxville Raceway hopes the April showers bring May racing tonight. The first two weeks of racing were rained out and tonight is now the 71st season opener. All three sprint car classes are scheduled to run tonight on a new track surface as the Dunkins brought in new dirt after last season. KNIA will have complete flag-to-flag coverage starting with Live Track Side at 5:00pm, and Race Nights Live at 7:00pm. Live Track Side will be on 95.3 KNIA only due to Simpson Softball coverage on 94.3.
