Indianola High School band students earned honors from the Iowa High School Music Association at the State Large Group Music Contest in Ankeny on Saturday. The Symphonic Band earned a Division 2 rating, Wind Ensemble received a Division 1 rating, and the Orchestra was awarded a Division 1 rating. The Indianola vocal students also performed, with the Bass Clef Chorus earning a Division 1 rating, the Treble Chorus earning a Division 2 rating, and both Mixed Chorus Ensembles earning a Division 1 rating.
