Marion County Public Health held their monthly providers meeting on Monday.

The meeting provides healthcare and community organizations an opportunity to inform the public of updates within their respective organizations. There is also a presenter at each meeting and on Monday, Tasha Tucker with Immanuel Pathways spoke about an all-inclusive care program for senior citizens that is available in Marion County. Immanuel Pathways offers a program called PACE which allows seniors to have all-inclusive care while staying in their homes. Del Bennett with Marion County Public Health says it’s great to have a service like this in Marion County.

“Some people just aren’t ready to move out of their homes into a skilled facility or a long term facility level of care, and this provides the family an in-between. They also can help with that transition to an elderly waiver for that long term care.”

The Marion County providers meeting is held the first Monday of every month.
