Three PCM athletic teams were in action on Monday.

PCM Soccer Defeats Albia

The PCM soccer team defeated Albia 3-1 at home Monday night.

All three Mustang goals came from freshman Jaxson Strait while Dominic Wiit and Leighton McClure recorded assists. After the win, PCM improves to 3-8 overall on the season and will next compete tonight against Boone. 

PCM Girls and Boys Track and Field Compete at Pella

The PCM girls and boys track and field teams competed at the Pella Dutch Invitational on Monday.

The Mustang boys finished fourth with 91 team points. Griffin Olson took first in the 110 hurdles, Gabe Hobbs won the 200 meter dash as Olson took second, Chase Wagaman won the high jump, and the sprint medley and 4X800 meter took second. 

The Mustang girls took fifth place with 73 team points. Tiffani Koonce won the 400 hurdles, Bailey Wheeler took second in the 800 meter, while the 400 shuttle hurdle team also took second. For complete individual results you can follow the link below.
