The Indianola High School spring musical production of The Wizard of Oz gained numerous honors from the Iowa High School Musical Theatre Awards Showcase earlier this week. The awards included:

Outstanding Musical Production
Outstanding Ensemble

While individual honors were given to:
Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role – Nadia Gioffredi as “Dorothy Gale”
Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role – Matthew Winjum as “Scarecrow”
Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role – Brady Meyers as “Tinman”
Outstanding Performance in a Principal Role – Rico Miller as “Lion”

Special Recognition honors:
Student Orchestra
Special Recognition for Performance in a Principal Role – Emma Brown as “Aunt Em/Glinda”
