The PCM Community School District announced Wednesday night that the Board of Education and Superintendent Dr. Michelle Havenstrite have reached an agreement and approved Havenstrite’s resignation from the position, effective June 30th.

In a statement released by PCM School Board President Ryan VanDerKamp, the board will select an interim superintendent to lead the district through the next year as they search for a permanent replacement. VanDerKamp also stated that the district will provide updates about the hiring process as they are able.

Havenstrite also issued a statement Tuesday, in which she expressed appreciation for staff and community support throughout her four years in the role at PCM. Read both full statements below.
