The Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas Track and Field Squads will head to the class 1A State Qualifying Meet at Earlham today. The Saber girls have struggled to get top finishes this season. The Saint girls have seen a solid year from Trista Hansaker in the 100 and 200 races. Her school record :13.02 in the 100 is 4th fastest going into the meet while her 200 time of :27.59 is also 4th fastest. Gabby Overgaard in the discus has the 4th best throw with a mark of 102-9. The Twin Cedars boys will seek to get several personal records and sneak in a qualifier. Joangel Ibarra has been improving his times in the 1600 and 3200 this season. The Melcher-Dallas boys have C.J. Smith with the 5th best time in the 100.
