It was another signature win for the #5 in 2A Pella girls soccer team as they defended their home turf, knocking off #3 in 3A Waukee 1-0 in double overtime Thursday evening. The Dutch and Warriors played a tight match throughout more than 90 minutes of competition until Senior All-State Striker Abby Warner found the back of the net with the golden goal at 7:22 left in the 2nd OT to walk it off. Pella improves to 10-3 overall and heads to Des Moines Roosevelt on Saturday.
