Twin Cedars and Melcher-Dallas Track and Field Squads were unable to get any automatic qualifier from the class 1A meet in Earlham on Thursday. The Sabers top performance was a 3rd place finish from Noah Fee in the long jump with a leap of 20-1. Top performers from Melcher-Dallas were Cael Caikoski for the boys placing 5th in the 400 with a time of :55.39 and Trista Hansaker for the girls placing 4th in both of the 100 and 200 races. Her 100 time was just a few hundredths off her school record she set earlier in the year at :13.15 and her 200 time was :27.78.
