The city of Norwalk will hold their spring clean up day and their drop-off events this week. Accepted items for the spring clean-up day include couches, desks, lamps, toys, mattresses, chairs, doors, and carpet that is cut into 4’ long x 18” diameter rolls. On Saturday, Norwalk will hold their drop-off event at the Public Works Facility at 2626 North Avenue. Items that can be dropped off include tires, paper shreddings, appliances, scrap metal, oil, auto-batteries, wood chips, and compost. Those participating in the drop-off event must be a City of Norwalk residential garbage customer and will be required to show proof of residency.
