Girls Tennis Beats Davis County, Eliminated From Team Regional By Ballard
The Knoxville Girls Tennis Squad ended its season on Friday as the Panthers fell to Ballard in round two of the class 1A team regional 5-0. The Panthers earlier in the day defeated Davis County 5-1 to advance. In that match the Panthers won five of the six singles and never had to use the doubles as the meet ended after one team reached five wins. Winning against Davis County were Janie Maasdam, Kate Schneider, Iselynn Prevo, Bridgette Liston and Marlea Cox. The Panthers will lose two seniors in the varsity top six.

Boys Soccer Falls To Pella
The Knoxville Boys Soccer Squad fell to Pella on Friday 4-0. Coach Dylan Mick told KNIA/KRLS his team was flat from the beginning and could never recover. Mick added that the substate is on the horizon and hopes Friday night serves as a wake up call to his team. The Panthers are 8-6 on the season and will host Oskaloosa on Monday in the first round of the class 2A substate.
Girls Golf Posts 224 In Home Quad
The Knoxville Girls Golf Squad scored a 224, which was the same as Oskaloosa, but Pella won the quad over Carlisle after the two teams tied for fifth score. Knoxville was led by Iselynn Prevo and Caelie Smith, both shooting a 49. Knoxville ended the regular season and will now turn its attention to the regional on Wednesday.
