Pella Boys Soccer Dominates Knoxville on Senior Night
The Pella boys soccer team celebrated their graduating seniors in a 4-0 win over Knoxville. Within the opening few minutes, the Dutch scored the first of their goals from Austin Bone, and from there, largely controlled the festivities on the pitch with their Red Rock rivals. Teddy Apostolopoulos scored twice, and Reed Beard also found the back of the net on senior night. The Dutch improve to 7-8 overall and wrap up the regular season Monday at Marion.

Second-Ranked Girls Tennis Team Advances to Round of 16
It was a relatively short day of work for the #2 in 1A Pella girls tennis team as they started their journey back to the final four as a group. Pella swept Centerville and Pella Christian 5-0 to advance to the round of 16. The Dutch will next take on Ballard on Tuesday at home, and then play the round of eight, with the winner advancing to take on Lewis Central or Clarinda in the quarterfinals on May 18th.

Pella Girls Golf Wins on Tiebreaker in Knoxville Quad
The Pella Girls Golf Team was victorious in a quad on Friday night in Knoxville. The Dutch shot a team score of 202, tieing with Carlisle, with their fifth score putting them over the top to seal the victory. Leading scorers were Emerson Lee – Runner-Up Medalist (46), Sophia Reynolds (50), Carlyn Henry (52), Mackenzie Johnston (54), and Payton Roose (55, Fifth Score). Karsyn Lyons was performing with the Pella High School concert band at the Iowa Bandmasters Association Conference.
