The Knoxville School Board met in regular session on Monday.

The meeting started with the board hearing a presentation and approving an English Language Arts Curriculum proposal. The board then approved conveyance in real property, a certified budget amendment, the 2023-2024 graduate list, girls wrestling becoming an official school sport, and increases in personnel wages. The board also approved Randy Wilson Track improvement quotes, and the resignation of school board member Susan Swartzendruber. 

There will now be a process where voters may file a petition within 14 days to require the vacancy to be filled by a special election, or the current board may appoint someone to serve in this role.
