The Pleasantville baseball team won their season opener on Wednesday night over Bishop-Garrigan.

The Trojans defeated the Golden Bears 10-1 in a neutral site game played at Walt Anderson Field in Rippey. Dylan Aldrich was the winning pitcher for the Trojans throwing four innings and recording eight strikeouts while Braylon Bingham and Brayden Kennedy combined for three innings of work and seven strikeouts. Freshman JJ Phillips went 2-3 on the night and had a three run homer. The win moved Pleasantville to 1-0 to start the season and they will be back in action on Monday at home against West Marshall.
