Grant Love and Bella Tranquilino of the Simpson College tennis teams were tabbed as Academic All-District honorees by the College Sports Communicators.

To be eligible to earn CSC Academic All-District status, student-athletes must have at least a 3.50 cumulative grade point average and be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing. Each student-athlete also must have competed in at least 70 percent of the teams’ matches on the year.

Both Love and Tranquilino are earning their first Academic All-District honor and will automatically advance to the CSC All-America ballot, with those being announced in June.
