The Twin Cedars Baseball Squad got itself in a hole it could not dig out against Albia and the Sabers lost to the Blue Demons 9-0 in the season opener on Thursday. Albia scored twice in each of the first two innings and also benefited from Saber errors. Twin Cedars was also limited to just one hit as Holden Roberts got that. Blake Micetich took the loss going three innings giving up seven runs on four hits, issued six walk and struck out two. Twin Cedars will host Keota tonight.
