The Indianola Mayor’s Youth Council 2024 Bike Fest will be at the Indianola Stadium in June. The event will include educational events such as how to cross a street safely and the importance of helmets and other safety equipment, as well as prizes given out throughout the event. Blank Children’s Hospital is providing the helmets that will be given away, and the Indianola Independent Advocate for its media sponsorship. The KNIA Lil Big Red Radio will be on location playing music and making announcements.
The event is June 8th at the Indianola Stadium from 10am to noon. In case of inclement weather, a modified event will be held at the Indianola Activity Center.
