The Pella girls tennis team made their way back to the final four of Class 1A for the second consecutive season, defeating Clarinda 5-1 Saturday in Atlantic.

The Dutch were able to lock up the bid without going to doubles, winning five singles matches, including Emily Blom, Alloree Else, Claire Smock, Lily Van Dusseldorp, and Bryn Higginbotham.

Before heading to the team tournament next week, those five athletes will compete this Friday and Saturday in the state singles and doubles tournament at the University of Iowa. The Dutch will then return as a team to take on Spencer on May 29th at 8 a.m. at Byrnes Park in Waterloo.
