The PCM softball team defeated West Marshall at home Friday night while the baseball team fell short.
The Mustang softball team secured a 1-0 win over the Trojans after a dominating pitching performance by Rylee Parsons who threw seven innings only giving up three hits and picking up nine strikeouts. The lone run on the night for PCM came on a solo home run by Tori Lindsay. After the win the Mustang softball team improved to 2-0 on the season and will be back in action tonight against Pella.
The Mustang baseball team fell to the Trojans 8-4. Easton Webb had a two hit night for PCM with a single in the fourth inning and a double in the sixth. Jake Wendt scored two runs on the night and the Mustangs accumulated three total hits. The loss drops the PCM baseball team to 0-3 on the season and they will be back in action tonight against Greene County.
