They need to know the following in order to share with Iowa Homeland Security and Emergency Management and FEMA:
1) Your name.
2) Your phone number.
3) Your email address.
4) The address where the damage occurred.
5) Do you own the property?
6) What type of damage did you have?
7) Do you have insurance that will cover at least part of the losses?

The agency recommends taking pictures of the damage and any property that is damaged prior to throwing items away.
