The season openers for Melcher-Dallas Boys and Girls of Summer were lost to Murray. Baseball fell 10-0 and dug itself a hole too deep to get out of, giving up three runs in the 1st, four in the 2nd and four more in the 3rd. Mason DeJong took the loss, going an inning and a third surrendering seven runs. Despite outhitting Murray 10-8t, it was the three errors that cost the Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad a 6-4 game to the Mustangs. The Saints started hot red hot, scoring three runs in the top of the 1st inning but soon gave it all back by the 3rd inning. Jenna Mickey went 3/4 on the night while Lotty Notle took the loss surrendering six runs and walking two. Melcher-Dallas heads to Moravia tonight.
