Chase Randall won his first career 410 race at the Knoxville Raceway on Saturday while Aaron Reutzel had to use patience in the 360 to claim the win, while J Kinder took home back-to-back wins in the Pro Sprints heard live on KNIA. In the 410 A-Main, Randall, starting from the pole, had to watch Reutzel storm out to the lead, but Randall slid Reutzel in turn two and was never truly challenged the rest of the way. Randall told KNIA/KRLS Sports he had to utilize his patience but keep the left foot down at the same time.

Randall: “I was driving as hard as I could, and when I got to lapped traffic I felt like I was slowing down and just wanted to get going. Troy and I are working really hard together in getting this car the best it can be,”

Reutzel had to deal with lapped traffic and a fast start by Jack Anderson as Anderson led the first 11 laps of the race. But Reutzel caught Anderson in lapped traffic and took off from there. J Kinder, who was about to head back to Missouri and race closer to home when the season started, has now won the Pro Sprints A-Main two straight weeks. He led all 15 laps of the feature. Next week is a big week for the Knoxville Raceway and the National Sprint Car Hall of Fame as the USAC National Sprint Cars put on a two night show, and the Hall of Fame induction ceremonies also take place on Saturday. KNIA will have live coverage of the USAC show both Friday and Saturday.
