The three Republican candidates running in the June 4th primary to be on the Marion County Board of Supervisors are being featured on KNIA/KRLS this week.

Jim Mueller is the former mayor of Pella, and served in that role from January 2012 to 2020, after eight years on the Pella City Council. He believes voters should choose him for his time serving in the city and the experience that gave him.

All Board of Supervisors Candidates will be featured on In Touch with South Central Iowa, which airs during the 8 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. news magazines and is posted as a podcast in the afternoon. Today, Mueller is being highlighted; current Board Member Steve McCombs is on Thursday, and Board Chair Mark Raymie will be featured Friday.

The three are running at-large for Republican nominations on Tuesday, June 4th for the two open seats in the November 2024 election. Early in-person voting at the Marion County Courthouse continues during regular hours and weekdays through Monday, June 3rd. Find more details about the 2024 primary election here.
