The Pella School Board met for the final regular meeting during the 2023-24 school year Tuesday. The board first received a construction update of ongoing projects. They then approved a $264,532 furniture quote with Premier F+E for the Jefferson-Middle School Connector.

Continuing work on the latest rounds of bonds for construction, the board ultimately tabled further action due to concerns that legal documents were not drafted correctly for a resolution relating to a paying agent and the tax exemption documents.

Additionally, the board approved student fees for the 2024-25 school year, a 28E agreement for the Central Buying Consortium, and vendor contracts related to food and chemical purchases in the coming academic year.

The board will hold a special meeting on Thursday at noon to reconsider bond documents, and then next meet on June 26th and July 22nd for summer meetings.
