After the win the Pleasantville baseball team improves to 4-2 on the season and will next compete tonight against Van Meter.

The Trojan softball team fell to the Cardinals 6-0. Pleasantville coach Alee Phillips says hitting hurt her team tonight and a few errors cost her team some unearned runs. Phillips says Carly Cox had a strong outing on the mound despite the three, four, and five hitters from Earlham having strong bats. The loss drops the Trojan softball team to 3-2 on the season and they will be back in action tonight against Van Meter.
