Steve McCombs is running for a new term on the Marion County Board of Supervisors and will be featured today on In Touch with South Central Iowa.
McCombs served on the road department for over 20 years in the county before retirement and will now seek his third term on the Republican ballot for Marion County Board of Supervisors.
McCombs tells KNIA/KRLS News that the main driving factor for him seeking re-election is to see through several different projects that he has helped get going over the last couple years.
“Being a lifelong resident of Marion County, and a former employee of Marion County for over 20 years, I’m very familiar with the issues that the public deals with.”
All Board of Supervisors Candidates will be featured on In Touch with South Central Iowa, which airs during the 8 a.m., 1 p.m., and 4 p.m. news magazines and is posted as a podcast in the afternoon. Jim Mueller was featured yesterday and Mark Raymie will be featured tomorrow.
McCombs, along with Mueller and Raymie, are running at-large for Republican nominations on Tuesday, June 4th for the two open seats in the November 2024 election. Early in-person voting at the Marion County Courthouse continues during regular hours and weekdays through Monday, June 3rd. Find more details about the 2024 primary election here.
