The annual free kids fishing day held at Marion County Park will take place on Saturday.

This “kids-cops-fishing” event put on by the Knoxville Police Department is open to all kids ages 8-17. From 9:00am-11:00am there will be instruction and fishing, and at 11:00 am there will be free lunch with drawings for prizes. There will be a limited number of loaner fishing poles available, so kids are encouraged to bring their own pole and tackle box if they have those items.
