The Pella Christian baseball and softball teams will look to put an end to three-game losing streaks tonight, as they square off with a pair of ranked Dallas Center-Grimes squads.

After opening the season at 5-2, the Eagles baseball team has dropped their last three games to Grand View Christian and Indianola. On the other side of the diamond, the Mustangs enter the contest ranked #4 in Class 4A, having gone 9-0 thus far this season. In addition to trying to end their recent losing skid, Pella Christian will be seeking to end Dallas Center-Grimes’ 11 game winning streak in the series between the two schools.

On the softball field, the Eagles also hope to end a three game losing streak, having fallen to Albia and Indianola earlier this week. The Class 4A #7 ranked Mustangs are 2-1 on the season, earning wins against Harlan and 5A #11 Waukee while falling to 4A #6 Winterset. Pella Christian’s softball team will also be seeking to end Dallas Center-Grimes’ winning streak in the series, which currently stands at 15 games dating back to 2018.

First pitch of the Eagles softball game at Dallas Center-Grimes is slated for 7:15 pm, while the baseball contest is set to begin at 7:30 pm.
