The Pella Opera House is hosting their 2024 A Record Year Gala on Friday, June 14th.

Community members are invited to join the Opera House for their fundraising event, which helps support the historic venue. The event will begin with cocktails in the Great Hall and check in at 5:30 pm. The event will then have a time to socialize and browse and bid on online auction items at 6:30 pm. At 7 pm, there will be dinner and dessert, followed by a program and a live auction at 7:30 pm. Wrapping up the event will be an after party with live music and cocktails on the 2nd and 3rd floor lobbies. Associate Director of the Pella Opera House Jara Johnson says that in addition to celebrating the end of their 2023-24 season, the event also serves as a way to thank those who help with their events throughout the year.

“We rely on our volunteers heavily for what we do and to accomplish all those big things that you see and the behind the scenes getting a lot of those things done. And I think it’s a big applause to and a big thanks to all those who just step in and help in that way. And we’re always looking for new volunteers to join our Opera House family in that way, because we feel like we have a lot of fun events, and great, great ways to meet people if you’re new in town, and just a way to get involved in all that we have going on.”
