The 2023-2024 school year is done across the state, and the Indianola Community School District administration is now looking ahead to summer preparation for the 2024-25 year beginning this fall. Superintendent Ted Ihns tells KNIA News this senior class stood out with just how many extracurriculars they were great at.

“One thing that stands out, and I’ve always said this about Indianola students since I’ve been here, we just have really good kids. We just have really outstanding kids in our school system, not only in the classroom but on the stage, on the athletic field, in the fine arts programs. I think that’s one thing this senior class has done as well, they’ve shone in everything that they’ve done and I think they continue to shine. I know that their chosen profession, college, or program that they chose to move forward in, they are going to be successful in.”
