Eight local duos played in the class 2A State Coed Golf meet Monday at the Indianola Golf and Country Club. The Indianola Duo of Camryn Overton and Jackson Buchanan placed sixth with a 75. Other area pairings were Pella’s Sophia Reynolds and A-J Hoekstra shooting an 80 while Karsyn Lyons and Cade McGinley from Pella shot an 85. Knoxville had siblings pair up as Caelie and Evan Smith teamed up to shoot an 85. Norwalk’s Ava Garvey and Grady Sigrist fired an 82 and Evelyn Kinney and Ian Lux from Norwalk shot an 86. Indianola had another pairing as Amelia Moorlach and Tyler Santi carded a 94.
