The Pleasantville softball team defeated Des Moines Christian 15-4 as the baseball team fell 18-5 Monday night in a ranked matchup.

The Trojan softball team defeated the Lions in domination fashion to improve to 6-4 on the season. Pleasantville saw a three hit night from Lainey Kennedy and she had another strong outing  on the mound. The Trojans will next compete tonight at Interstate 35. 

The #9 ranked Trojan baseball team fell to the #6 ranked Lions after Pleasantville gave up nine runs in a doomed sixth inning. The Trojans went on to give up five more runs in the seventh to fall in lopsided fashion. After the loss, Pleasantville falls to 7-5 on the season and will next compete tonight at Interstate 35.
