The first Thursdays in Pella event returned with several favorites this week.

The theme was Game Night, and featured the annual bike rodeo, which included a safety check, tune up, Pella Police registration, and an obstacle course. Leighton State Bank hosted Bingo on the stage of the Tulip Toren. An expanded food court area was highlighted for the first time this summer as well. Additionally, there was an ELMA Book Giveaway, inflatables, face painting, yard games, parachute, craft table, and the City of Pella Book and Art Bike. Families First of Pella was also on hand to provide details about their annual parenting classes and family-based programming.

Every Thursdays in Pella concludes with the City Band performing. The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio is broadcasting weekly updates.
