Pella continued to flex their offensive muscle on the softball diamond as they dominated Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont 14-2 in three innings Thursday. The Dutch roared out of the gates with an 11-run first inning and didn’t look back. Saige DeJong gave up two earned runs in the circle and Pella had a 3-for-3 night with three runs batted in for Emma Eekhoff and 2-for-2 performances from Ava Curry and Katie Scheckel. The Dutch improve to 7-4 and host Pella Christian for what is now a single game this evening due to injuries.
