Both Melcher-Dallas Summer Squads traveled to Moulton-Udell and both came away with differing results. The softball squad crushed the Eagles 14-1, putting up six runs in the 6th and sending everyone home early. Gabby Overgaard opened the scoring with a solo home run, followed by a Paetyn Anderson double and a Brooklyn Metz two-bagger. Overgaard, Anderson and Metz all collected two hits with Anderson driving in three runs. Lotty Nolte got the win striking out four and walking just one. On the baseball diamond, Melcher-Dallas got plenty of hits, but only drove in three runs in a 6-3 loss to the Eagles. Evan Schrader went 2/3 at the plate, while Austin Remster drove in two runs. Reece Chiabotta took the loss, going three complete. Melcher-Dallas Baseball will be in the Moulton-Udell Invitational today while softball heads to Eddyville to play two South Central Conference squads in E-B-F and Davis County.
