The Twin Cedars Baseball Squad won the Moulton-Udell Invitational in two very different games. In the opener, the Sabers were matched up with rival Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars overmatched the Saints in a 24-1 victory. The Sabers were up 22-0 before the Saints would be able to score in the top of the 3rd inning. Kaden Kloster was 4/4 with four RBI, Wyatt Patty and Dallas Smith drove in three runs as the game ended after the 4th inning. Chase Rozenboom got the win going two innings, allowing two hits and striking out three. In the finale, the Sabers had to go nine innings and walked it off in comeback fashion 11-10 over Mormon Trail. Both teams went to extra innings tied at six, but neither scored until Mormon Trail posted four runs in its half of the 9th, when Dallas Smith got a bases-clearing triple to seal the win. Smith added three more RBI to his total for the day to finish with six. Blake Micetich got the win.
