The Pella baseball team has entered the Class 3A rankings, and a Pella High School junior has been the force behind the surge for the #9 in 3A Dutch. Isaiah Kettler is having a remarkable start to the 2024 season, and in 15 games, has eye-popping stats that are among the best in Iowa regardless of class. Kettler’s batting average is at .636, which was 2nd best before Monday’s games played in the entire state. His 28 hits are t-3rd best in all classes, and he has the most doubles racked up of any hitter in Iowa. His 51 total bases is 5th best in Iowa. Kettler and the Dutch are off until they host Norwalk for a varsity doubleheader Wednesday. Game two can be heard on 92.1 KRLS.
