Both Twin Cedars Summer Sports Squads won convincingly over Seymour on Monday night. Softball drubbed the Warriors 12-0 as Jillian French tossed a five inning no-hitter. The Sabers had 14 hits with several girls getting two hits including French, Kennedi Ford, Ami Mockenhaupt, and Alli Reed. Layla McCarty and Cristen Durian drove in two runs each. The score was even more lopsided on the baseball diamond as the Sabers trounced Seymour 20-1. The game started with Twin Cedars posting a snowman in the 1st inning. Kaden Kloster homered to get that inning started. Offensively for the Sabers Kloster had three RBI and Blake Micetich also drove in three runs. Wyatt Patty got the win going four innings and striking out seven. The Softball Sabers are off until Thursday when they host Murray, baseball will travel to Chariton tonight.
