The Marion County Board of Supervisors met in regular session on Tuesday.

The meeting started with a presentation given by Pella City Administrator Mike Nardini regarding proposed residential housing divisions. The City of Pella is requesting the board to consider a five-year extension for three urban renewal plans to provide additional housing in Pella. No action was taken as this was just an informational presentation given by Nardini. The board then approved a City of Pella drivers license space lease agreement, acceptance of two bids for property disposition in Melcher-Dallas, a Polk County Judicial Mental Health Advocate memorandum of understanding renewal, and there was discussion regarding an 163rd Place road request for county maintenance that did not move forward.

The meeting concluded with a public hearing and approval of road vacation for part of Victory Lane, and approval of an employee stipend for Nicole Schippers, who was recently designated as the interim authorized signer for the county IT Department.
