Both Melcher-Dallas Summer Squads got run rule victories on Wednesday night over Moulton-Udell. Mason DeJong held down the Eagles on the mound and Saints used four hits, 11 walks and five Eagle errors to complete the win. The Saints got five runs in the first to set the tone early. DeJong allowed just one hit and struck out 12 batters. It was a similar story on the softball field as Melcher-Dallas blew out Moulton-Udell 16-4. The Saints benefitted from eight walks and seven errors. Paetyn Anderson did the most damage at the plate going 4/4 with five RBI, including a two run shot in the 1st inning. Lotty Nolte got the win striking out five. Both Melcher-Dallas squads welcome Mormon Traill tonight.
