The Indianola summer teams host the Pella Christian Eagles to start their second run-through of the Little Hawkeye Conference tonight.
The Indianola softball team swept the Eagles in their first matchups on the road winning 12-0 and 14-2, and are averaging over six runs per contest while the young Eagles are giving up nearly 13 runs per contest. The softball contest can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS with Tyler Crabb on the call.
The Indianola baseball team also jumped all over the Eagles in their first matchup, winning 9-1 and 16-0. The Indians got a combined 31 hits in the contest, and have now won three conference games in a row after dropping two one-run contests to the league-leading Dallas Center-Grimes Mustangs. The baseball game can be heard live on 94.3 KNIA, with Andrew Swadner on the call. Pregame coverage for both contests begins at approximately 7pm.
