The Knoxville Community Foundation has donated $10,000 to the Knoxville Federated Garden Club for the new water feature at the Bessie Spaur Butterfly Garden.

According to Community Foundation President Aaron Fuller, they awarded the donation to the Garden Club n as part of their 2024 Project Funding program. Fuller says while the plants and flowers are not planted and the lights are not installed yet, the rocks and water feature is a beautiful addition to the hospital property. This project was completed outside the new Don and Margaret Long Infusion Center at Knoxville Hospital and Clinics. 

Since 1998, the Knoxville Federated Garden Club has sponsored the development, care, and enhancement of the Bessie Spaur Butterfly Garden.
