The PCM softball team defeated Pleasantville 6-3 on the road Friday night.
The #13 ranked Mustangs saw an impressive pitching performance from Libby Winters who pitched five innings just giving up two hits and recording seven strikeouts in her pitching debut. Offensively, Tori Lindsay went 3-4 in the game with a double, a run scored, and a stolen base while Addison Hudnut went 2-3 with a double, two runs scored, and an RBI.
Lainey Kennedy pitched all seven innings for the Trojans. Offensively for Pleasantville, Kally Wysong had three singles in the game and Ella Clark, Danika Park, Taylor Perkins, and Kyleigh McConnell each had one.
After Friday’s game, PCM improves to 13-2 overall and will next compete on Monday against Perry, and Pleasantville falls to 12-7 overall and will next compete on Monday at Earlham.
