The Knoxville Noon Kiwanis hosted their 29th annual Family Fun Fair at Auld Park on Saturday.

As part of the event, local businesses and public safety crews set up booths and activities for kids, and Kiwanis provided a free hotdog lunch. Curt Swanebeck with the Knoxville Noon Kiwanis says that the event began as a way to provide a fun activity for families with no cost associated.

“Our goal is to have an event in the summer that doesn’t cost a family a penny, not a thing. We don’t ask for any donations from the families that attend this or anything. The kids just come and play simple games from different organizations around town and just have a good time.”

The KNIA/KRLS Lil’ Big Red Radio was also at the event, playing music and making announcements.
