The Knoxville RAGBRAI Executive Committee is still looking for volunteers for a variety of  areas ahead of the overnight stop in Knoxville on July 24th.

The committee is in need of volunteers for welcome and send off, shuttle service, campground help, beverage garden staff, information center help, and showers and clean up. Kamryn Ryan with Volunteer Iowa is in charge of volunteers for the event and she encourages everyone to help make this event as successful as possible.

“It’s just a great way to show off Knoxville. If we want people to invest in our community, RAGBRAI riders are fellow Iowans typically so it’s just a great way to promote what we have to offer, and to promote your organization and club. Wear your shirts, wear your gear, and show up. It’s going to be a great time, so there is really no reason to not get involved.”
