The Melcher-Dallas Softball Squad went 0-3 at the Orient-Macksburg Invitational on Saturday. The Saints began by falling to Murray 10-0. The Mustangs put up six runs to blow the game open while the Saints were held to just two hits. In game two, Paetyn Anderson’s two home runs and four total RBI were still not enough as the Saints lost to Panorama 12-9. Melcher-Dallas’s comeback attempt in the 6th inning also fell short as the Saints were down 12-9 going into the inning. The Saints also lost the final game to Lenox 10-5. The Saints could only muster three hits in the game, two by Jenna Mickey. Melcher-Dallas travels to East Union on Monday.
