The Marion County Board of Supervisors established a committee to help fill the Marion County IT Director Role in a special session on Monday.

This comes after the recent death of former IT Director Andrew Meyers. The committee that will help with the search for a new IT Director will consist of Joel Rohne with ISAC, County HR Manager Lisa Seddon, Sheriff Jason Sandholdt, County Treasurer Michaela Bigaouette, and Board of Supervisors member Kisha Jahner. The committee will seek out advice from Rohne specifically on trying to find the right candidate, how long the position should be open, and an updated job description.

The board also approved Seddon to take over the HR role in the IT Department as the search for a new candidate is in progress. Nicole Schippers has been the authorized signer for the Marion County IT Department in the meantime.
